What are my options for renting space at Rolling Bay Hall?

Rolling Bay Hall offers monthly studio rentals, rehearsal/recital rooms, meeting space, and a versatile intimate Main Stage Theater for music and theater events and  private parties.  See below for additional information.

How Many People Does the Main Stage Theater Accommodate?

The Main Stage Theater capacity is geared for an audience maximum of 110 people.  The stage can be configured for theater or bands and features a movable stage for seated or standing events.

What Does It Cost to Rent the Main Stage Theater?

Friday and Saturday Evenings: $350 with full amenities of Kitchen/bar area, Spacious Lobby, 2 Greenrooms, 2 ADA bathrooms + Basic House Sound and Lighting.  Additional sound/lighting packages available through Flywheel Productions.  ***A partial deposit and cleaning fee are required as part of the Hold Harmless contract for all confirmed events with a completed booking application.

Sunday-Thursday Evenings: $250 with full amenities of Kitchen/bar area, Spacious Lobby, Greenrooms, 2 ADA bathrooms +  Basic House Sound and Lighting.  Additional sound/lighting packages available through Flywheel Productions. ***A partial deposit and cleaning fee are required as part of the Hold Harmless contract for all confirmed events with a completed booking application.

Hourly Rate: $50/Hour (hourly rate only available for day time use)/ Main Stage Theater only/no amenities

Event Check In and Set Up:

Load In starts as early as 3 pm although your Rolling Bay Hall ambassador will work with you on allowing access to the building for the time frame that best meets your event requirements.

Recommended Sound Check For Bands/Artists: 4-5:30 pm

Recommended show time: 7:00-8:00 p.m.  Technically, all electrically amplified music must end by 10:00 p.m. (due to a community noise ordinance). All events must end by midnight unless approved by special request.

Hourly Room Rentals for Recitals and Rehearsals/Meetings/Recording Sessions

Looking for Rehearsal/Recital space? We offer a spacious classroom with a piano  for rehearsals and small recitals on the second floor in the north end of the building: $20/hour from 9- 6 p.m. (OR $120 for the day). Evening hours as available. 2 hour rental minimum.  Internet included.

Looking for creative office space? We also have hourly office space available on the second floor in the north end of the building: $12/hour (OR long term monthly office rentals as available): 4 hour rental minimum: $75 for the day (9-6 p.m.); Internet included.

Looking to Record?  We offer a completely sound proof greenroom/recording studio: $15/hour from 9-6 p.m. (OR $100/day); evening hours by arrangement: 2 hour minimum.  Internet included.

Looking to host a small meeting?  We have a lovely lobby with comfy seating, additional tables,  and kitchen/bar access.  $25/hour as available Internet included.

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Yes – BUT- Rolling Bay Hall does not host a liquor license.  You may sell liquor at your event if hosted by an approved catering facility with an approved liquor license.  We may able to recommend local restaurants/caterers to host the liquor sales for your event.  A minimum alcohol fee may be required.

You can also show proof of a Special Occasion license if you are a non-profit OR obtain a Banquet License for events that serve but do not sell alcohol.

Do you serve food?

We do not serve food but you may bring in your own catering or food for all events.  You may sell packaged food products.

Are there tables and chairs available for use?

We have 4 tables and a coat check rack in the lobby,  a refrigerator and sink in the kitchen and bar area, and 110 theater chairs  (80 will fit in the main stage audience).  We can also provide additional folding chairs as needed.

What is  Available for House Sound and Lighting?

There is a basic house package which comes with the rental of the Main Stage Theater.   We offer a house technician to assist with set up the night of the event. Advanced packages available for additional cost through Flywheel Productions or Essential Sound Audio.  Risers and spotlight available separately for rent.
